Here in the St. Louis Area, we have 4 not-too-obscure plants that are in the “Everlasting” tribe of the Aster Family:

• Antennaria neglecta (Field Pussytoes) [CC4]
• Antennaria parlinii (Parlin’s Pussytoes) [CC5]

• Gamochaeta purpurea (Purple Everlasting) [CC3]
• Pseudognaphalium obtusifolium (Sweet Everlasting) [CC2]
