Here in the St. Louis Area, we have 3 not-too-obscure plants that are in the “Dutchman’s Pipe” family:

  • Aristolochia serpentaria (Virginia Snakeroot) [CC6]
  • Aristolochia tomentosa (Woolly Dutchman’s Pipe) [CC7]
  • Asarum canadense (Wild Ginger) [CC6]
